I’d like to talk to you about sleep dentistry and Westermeier and Martin Dental Care. No one likes going to a dentist and I hold the record on not showing up for appointments. For 15 years, I always had a reason for not going. Eventually, I got to the point where I had some serious problems and had to see someone. I know my level of discipline and knew that I would never complete a series of appointments spread out over a year like everyone else wanted to do. So I went to see the people at Westermeier’s and I was impressed. They laid out a program for me that I knew would work. In just 2 visits, 15 years of neglect was gone. They gave me a pill to take at home. When I got there, I fell asleep and woke up the next morning with the best smile I’d seen in years. They told me that I was worked on for 9 hours and I don’t remember a thing. The second visit took about 6 hours and I don’t remember that either. Best of all I had no post operative discomfort either time.

It is hard to know what to say about Dr. Westermeier without sounding like his mother, sister, aunt or best friend. He simply is one of the most caring, understanding people I have ever met.
The fear I had of dentists is also hard to explain, but it was very real and terrible. Having had a bad experience with a needle breaking off in my gum as a small child, I stumbled through my adult life going only to the dreaded dentist when absolutely necessary and even than I would make up any excuse not to go and change many more appointments than you would believe.
After having a bad accident several years ago that completely changed my life not to mention the need for extensive dental work. I was horrified. Some good friends of my parents knew of my situation and my fear of dentists and told me about Dr. Westermeier.
Having no choice but to deal with this problem, I made the appointment, lost several nights sleep leading up to it and finally went.
I can’t explain what it is that he does, only that he has a way of dispelling all your fears and never makes you feel embarrassed for all the things you should have done to treat your teeth the way you should. He gently and kindly explains to you what needs to be done and what your options are.
His state of the art equipment, his great staff and most importantly Dr. Westermeier made my experience pain free and most importantly totally rid me of my fear of the dentist. I truly can say that me and my new smile actually look forward to going for my regular visits.
I know what I have told you is hard to believe, but it is all true and you will know what I mean after only one visit.

You know I never really considered going to the dentist as a necessary part of my life. Not because I didn’t think it was important, I do , but because the fear of going greatly outweighed any concerns about taking care of my teeth. It wasn’t one thing in particular that bothered me. Listen, I would never stand in line to go to the dentist. But knowing there is a place like Westermeier’s allows me to take care of my teeth without the fear I have had in the past.
So now, dental care has become easy and fearless and a truly necessary part of my life.

My experience was one of relaxation, which by the way was very plush, a thick pad on the dental chair along with a blanket, hmm. And no one rushed me. And most important I never felt a thing and I had plenty done in one 4 hr. sitting.
I can’t believe I’m saying this and looking forward to my next visit with you and your caring staff.
